The Debrief - January 2025

The A47 Alliance met for their first meeting of the year on 17 January 2025. 

At the meeting, the A47 Alliance received updates from Norfolk County Council officers on the current funding and political landscape in government regarding major transport schemes which the Alliance need to remain mindful of. 

The Alliance also received an update from National Highways covering the progress on the North Tuddenham and Blofield dualling schemes, new dates for publication of RIS3, expected Spring 2025. National Highways also updated on the Acle Straight snail study which is expected to be published Summer 2025. 

An update was also provided on the upcoming plans for the Alliance's campaigns, including plans for a parliamentary drop in with the Future of Roads Minister, Lilian Greenwood MP.
