High Court judgement gives go ahead on A47 schemes
The A47 Alliance is pleased to see the judgment made today by Mrs Justice Thornton giving the go ahead on the three Norfolk A47 improvement projects:
- Thickthorn junction improvements
- Blofield to Burlingham dualling
- North Tuddenham to Easton dualling
These projects are vital for safety and to support economic, housing and employment growth in the region, enabling people and businesses to thrive.
Delivery of the three schemes is estimated to save 822 accidents over their lifetime and will support numerous businesses, public transport and people by providing journey time savings.
We now want to see the fast delivery of the A47 schemes so we can begin to reap the benefits they will provide.
